About Me
I have spent the majority of my teaching life in Queensland, where I worked initially in private schools, followed by a move to Education Queensland Instrumental Program about 24 years ago. The diversity, quality and extent of my teaching experience has instilled in me an ever-growing passion and drive to share the great value of a music education, to do so with a clear focus on student growth, well organized resources and teaching methods and with enthusiasm to inspire the next generation of musicians. A move to Tasmania two years ago has afforded me a wonderful opportunity to work with music teachers and students in the Burnie Region. It is my vision to grow the string programs in the area and to provide quality ensemble/orchestral experiences for these students. As a relative newcomer to Tasmania, I am also keen to make contact with a network of other music teachers.
